I will be in Axis Camp, Smoking with Churchill
Mumbai is a smoking city and here smokers have their own strong points and somewhere they are convincing. Yesterday, I was sitting among some young chaps of corporate world. They were smoking continuously and I could tolerate it. When I said, you the people making Mumbai worst place!
One of them said emphatically, ''We smokers will rule the world. Do you know that Winston Churchill a great smoker so why he defeated the Nazi that was being lead by a non-smoker, Adolf Hitler.''
The second one attacked immediately, '' What do think about James Watt who found out the steam power? It was the smoke power. And today the base of modern civilization is nothing else but smoke and only smoke.''
I was highly surprised to listen such types logic behind smoking. I was wordless.
Having found me silent they started singing in favor of smoking.
''Imagine about the preliminary age, Life without wheel.men would live in the forest and would eat meats and other things. There was no civilization, no state, no rule, no tradition , no culture, no clothes nothing whatever you are seeing today around yourself, '' a young man, with taking 3x rums explored earlier era. He did not stop here but said loudly as if he was the Alexander the Great, '' Then men found out fire and before fire there was smoke. So even today, it is said that there is no fire without smoke. And with the discovery of fire everything changed, A new era began, an era of progress and, that is going on continuously. You see from train to plane, all are moving with the help of smoke. What you say ! Men have touched the Moon and now are trying to go to Mars. Do you know why? Only due to smoke.
I was very much surprised and impressed to listen his logic. And somewhere I believed that it is smoking that has lead the men to there glory.
Now I am considering to take up this smoking habit. Can any one help me to see the other side of the coin.If not certainly I will be in Axis Camp, the camp of Winston Churchill, a smoker. And would start smoking, feeling Churchill before me.

Guys were absolutely correct with their logic...but mind you...its logic only...containing words..plain words...ruthless words..killer words.Logic is a knife..that works both ways...can cut vegitables...and can cut a throat too.They are cutting throat...!!!And Those guys were not doing something new.Rather they were following the footprints that their(read our) ancestors has made while walking on the path of distruction.Why they forgot that the same smoke coughing jet rocked WTC...that the same smokers are discovered with TB and cancer...that the same smoke has put the mother nature in a dillema that she has stopped generating enough oxygen for us to brathe.They are smoking their own existence...!!Words do'nt change the reality at all.Whatevr bullshit they said is a lump of words arranged as per their requirements.They wanted to justify their killer habit by this..and they did..they did it successfully.
I know these independents guys will not realise it saying they are independent enough to decide their path.But tell em that their is nothing called dependence or independence......this is only interdependence.By smoking they are creating imbalance to the nature...they are disturbibg the very soul of interdependence.....they should know that by smoking..they dont only smoke their heart out..but are also smoking us out of existence....slowly but dangerously.
